We have had a fun and somewhat relaxing weekend! Friday night the weather was cooler and Jason made loaded potato soup. We had Jamie, Ben, Kyle, and Hannah over to enjoy it with us. It was a perfect night for sitting outside. The kids had a blast playing in the yard, roasting marshmallows, and playing with sparklers. It was great talking with Jamie and catching up on things and planning our latest events coming up! Saturday morning I headed off to work and Jason and Christian had a surprise visit from Denver. He brought Donuts over for them which was so sweet and then they all went to see my cousin play football. Jason said Christian loved standing on the sidelines with his Uncle Steven. Jason said Christian kept saying he wanted to go out there and play with them. After I got off work I had to pack up all my stuff at my salon and load it up in the car. My salon is moving locations this weekend. I am so excited! The new place is a lot bigger and really nice. We are moving all of our stuff in on Monday and I can't wait! Once I got home we ate some lunch and then Christian and I took a nap while Jason mowed the grass and did some other odd and end things around the house. Once we got up we headed to Home Depot to pick out paint samples and to look at closet organizers. Then we stopped by Lowe's to do the same thing. After those two places we grabbed a bite to eat and then headed to target for some random things we needed. Christian got a new DVD called Tarzan. After target we made one more stop to Baby's R Us to pick up some sheets for Christian. Then we headed back home! Jason had to get ready to leave to head down to Nashville for the night and the day today for work. After Jason left Christian and I popped popcorn and watched most of Tarzan and then it was off to bed for him. I stayed up and did some blogging and watched some of season 7 from One Tree Hill. Christian was up bright and early this morning at 5:45 a.m. Luckily he got in bed with me and went back to sleep for a little bit. We ate breakfast and then spent the morning playing outside and straightening up our house. We also watched some of Monsters Inc. this morning. I think this is Christian's new favorite cartoon. Then we headed over to watch Kyle play in his first football game. He did so good hiking the ball and running after the guys. It was fun to watch, but man was it SO HOT. After the game we went to Zesto for the first time ever and had lunch and ice cream. Jamie and Ben had never been here before either. The food was good, especially if you like fall festival type food. By the time we were finished eating Christian was wiped out and ready to head home for a nap. We are going to have another movie night tonight and take it easy on the couch together. I love those moments with him. I know I will always treasure them!

Celebrating Emma's 9th Birthday
Today is our niece Emma's ninth birthday! I can't believe my sweet little Emma is 9 years old already. I remember the day she was born! We were so excited to meet her. She has always been so sweet and precious and she only gets sweeter every year. We are so proud of how grown up our wonderful niece has become. We went over to her house to night to celebrate her birthday with her. Becky made stromboli's, pasta salad and italian salad and it was all delicious! When It came time to sing happy birthday all the little kids were so excited. That is there favorite part! Poor Emma didn't get to blow out her candles because all the little kids jumped up and beat her to it. She didn't mind one bit, she thought it was funny! We got Emma a pedicure and Manicure set for her Birthday. She loves to have her nails and toes done and now she can do them herself! Happy Birthday Emma! We love you so much!

Patrick's Baptism
Today was Patrick's Baptism! The Babe, Jason and I were all asked to be Patrick's Godparents. We feel very honored too be picked to play such an important role in our nephew's life. The ceremony was really nice, but poor Patrick was hungry and he fussed the whole time. We all felt so sorry for him. He is so sweet and cute and he is usually such a good little baby, so we hated to see him so upset. The ceremony didn't last too long and then we all headed over to Alisann and Justin's house for lunch and to continue celebrating this special day for Patrick! The boys had a blast playing and wrestling with their Uncle Johnny and Grandpa Shetler. We got Patrick a bible with his name embossed on it. I also got him a really cute pair of socks that look like tennis shoes and a teething toy. After we finished celebrating such a special day with everyone we headed back to our house and we all laid down and took a good nap! We were wiped out from all the celebrating!
