Thanksgiving AT Mom & Dad's House

Today we got up and went to mass at Holy Trinity and then we came over to Mom and Dad's for a Today thanksgiving dinner with just our immediate family. We have never gotten to do this before and it was so nice to be able to celebrate Thanksgiving with just my immediate family. The kids all had kid tables in the sunroom and us adults all got to sit together in the dinning room. After dinner we all helped clean up and then we all sat and relaxed in the family room together. It was a nice relaxing day!

Pizza & Family Movie Night

Tonight we decided to take it easy and order pizza and have a family movie night at home. It seems like forever since we have been able to do this. I wanted to take full advantage of this since we only have about a month left in this house. I am so sad just thinking about it.

Small Business Saturday Shopping

Today I headed out to do a little small business saturday shopping. I did not partake in any of the black friday shopping this year, but there were some great deals at some of my favorite boutique stores that I love. Pen-Pals is one of my favorite places to go and shop so I was sure to hit up that one. I got some more cotton colors pottery to add to my collection and some christmas candles and some burlap table runners. I am excited to get to use my new stuff in this new house! For those of you who have not been to Pen-Pals I highly recommend checking it out.

Family Movie Night

Tonight I went with my siblings and my mom and dad to see Lincoln. We haven't had a family movie night in a long time! I have to say though that I was really disappointed in the movie. I thought that it was going to be about Lincoln's life but instead it was pretty much just about the 13th amendment. It was still so nice to have a family movie night with everyone!

CHristian's First Buck Hunting With Daddy

Tonight Christian went on his second hunting trip with daddy! We both took him a couple of years ago and he was just too little and couldn't sit still and be quiet for very long, so we never even got to see a deer on that trip! Tonight was very different....They both not only saw a deer but it actually was a nice 8 pointer and CHristian got to watch Daddy shoot it! Christian was so excited when he called me. I was shocked when he told me that they got a big buck. I thought that being Christian talking he was just mistaken but when I talked to Jason he told me that it was actually really nice. I thought Jason was going to cry when we were on the phone because he was so happy and excited that Christian got to experience this. Christian was so pumped and could not wait to tell me all about it. He also Wanted uncle Tyler and Grandma Shetler to be sure and see the deer before we took it to get processed. He was so proud of it!
