Swimming

Christian is loving all these hot summer days in the pool at Grandma's house. I love playing all kinds of fun games with him in the pool. We love to go under water and wave to each other and have tea parties, we play sharks and minnows, and we have races from one end of the shallow end to the next. he is still not comfortable swimming by himself in the deep end though. He is getting better and better everyday!

A Little Trip To Wonder Whip

Tonight we made a little trip to Wonder Whip for dinner! This is one of Jason's favorite childhood places to go! I have to say I was pretty impressed with the food! After dinner the boys enjoyed some yummy ice cream! I love these hot summer nights!

Lucas' Baptism

Today was a very special day for our little Lucas. Today we had our sweet baby boy baptized. I don't think we could have had a more perfect celebration. We went to 9:00 a.m. Mass at Holy Trinity. The Mass was said by Fr. Vogler who is now retired, but came in town to say Mass and baptize Lucas for us. He Is the priest that married us, Baptized our other two boys, and brought Jason into the catholic church. It really meant a lot to us that he was able to do Lucas' baptism also. We asked Jamie and Ben to be his Godparents and I know they will do a wonderful job. After the baptism we came back to our for brunch, where I made a couple of breakfast casseroles, a veggie tray, pasta salad, Mini pancakes, coconut bread, chicken salad, fruit salad, Champagne salad, and Mini poppyseed muffins. I was worried that we would have a ton of food leftover and we really didn't which was such a relief. For dessert i picked up an itallian creme cake from Maxine's. After opening Lucas' presents I showed the Montage of Lucas' birth that I made. It was so great getting to share this special day with both of our families. Lucas is so lucky to have so many people that love and care for him!
