My Happy Boys

This morning I got the itch to take some pictures of my boys. I always tell Christian how he has the most beautiful smile in the world! I just love how Jax is smiling so much now. He is so sweet and I just love his beautiful sweet smile too! I feel so blessed to have such sweet, happy boys!

Visiting With Family

This morning Jason finished his last class for becoming Catholic. We are both really excited about this! Christian took an early nap so we could head east for the afternoon and evening and visit with family. Our first stop was to Josh and Brittany's house, so we could go have a late lunch together. It has been a little over a month since we had seen Ty and I couldn't believe how much he had grown. He is so cute and I hate that I didn't get any pictures of the boys together. We had a nice lunch at Cheddar's and it was great to catch up with them. After we finished there we stopped by Kenny and LeeAnn's house for a little visit. This was the first time Jax had been to their house. It has been a busy couple of months and we have never had the chance to get up there until now. Christian had fun playing with some toys and we had a nice visit with them. On our way home we stopped by Aunt Susan and Uncle Duane's to drop off a picture and Susan spoiled Christian with some cookie cake left over from Travis' birthday dinner. It was a great day getting to visit and see so much of our family! By the time we got home it was time for Christian to go straight to bed and Jason and I watched the movie The Tourist. I don't recommend this movie though. We felt like it was pretty disappointing.

A Visit From Uncle Larry & Aunt Lisa

This morning I had to work and then we made a family trip to Target. I am loving our new Target with the grocery in it. I think this is going to definitely be more convenient for us and I liked that they had a nice variety of different things in the grocery department. Once we got home and got everything put away I worked on catching up my blogs. Then we had a nice visit from Aunt Lisa and Uncle Larry. Larry hadn't met Jax yet, so he was excited to get to see him for the first time. They brought present for Christian and Jax. Christian was super excited about his new remote control car! We had a nice time visiting with them. I am looking forward to summer when we can go boating with everyone and get to see every one more! After they left we pent the rest of the evening chilling on the couch watching Wall-E with Christian and Jax. It was a nice relaxing Saturday!

Boys Afternoon Out To The Park

Wednesday afternoon Jason got off work early so he could take the boys to the park while I went to work. The boys had a great afternoon playing at the park together. This was the last nice day of warm weather we had for the week. Hopefully the nice weather comes back soon.

Spring Cleaning/Organizing

I have spent the last two days going through stuff in our storage room and our house. It feel so good to get some of this stuff cleaned out and organized. I cleaned out our craft closet, but I still need to get some totes to put some stuff in and then I need to label those, but at least the shelves all look nice and I know where everything is. I cleaned out my magazine drawer in our kitchen and got that organized. I finally somewhat organized our gift bags and wrapping paper. I didn't do anything too special with this I sorted everything out and at least put all the bags together according to the occasion and then put them all in a tote. I am still wanting to come up with something better. I organized this huge sack of ribbon that was out of control. I also went through some pictures and got those put in the right boxes. I went through some of Christian's toys, but we really need to hang on to a lot of those for Jax. I also cleaned out our file cabinet in our guest bedroom/office. This has been needing to be done for awhile now. I also organized our CDs and DVDs. I moved our games and DVDs to our cabinet by the stairs and organized all of them and I moved our blankets to the ottoman which will be more convenient. I hate that the weather is cold and nasty, but I took full advantage of it and got a lot of things done that have been needing to get done for awhile. I have quite a nice pile of things for the yard sale this summer. I still have to go through all my totes in the storage room, but that shouldn't take too long. I was hoping to finish a couple of Photo books, but I ran out of time. I am hoping to finish these next week along with deep cleaning my house now that it is somewhat organized. I do love when i get things accomplished that I have been needing to do for awhile. I will be able to relax so much more this weekend now!

Sisters Night Out

Last night was a great night! Jason volunteered to watch Anne, Maggie, Lily, Eli, Christian, and Jax so Alisann, Becky and I could all go out and have a nice relaxing dinner together. We never get to do this. Our schedules are always so busy between the three of us. It was so nice to go out and relax and be able to sit and talk with my sisters. We went to eat at Cork and Clever and Jason and Travis ordered pizza for them and the kids. The kids all played good together while we were gone. I am so lucky to have such a caring husband that would just offer and volunteer to take on all that, so we could have a nice evening out!
