Tonight after we finished looking at Christmas lights we stopped by Grandma Emilie's house to see her new apartment and visit with her before she left for Florida for the next few months. We didn't get to see her on Thanksgiving because she got to Jamie's house after we were gone. It was really nice to sit and talk with her for a while. She was so excited to show us everything in her new apartment. We sure will miss her at Christmas time, but she has such a good time down in Florida with her friends. I'm so glad that she is able to do all that! Christian got spoiled by her also while we were there! he got to snack on some ice cream balls while we all talked!

A Trip To Santa Clause Land
Tonight Jason, Christian, and I decided to make a quick trip up to Santa Claus, In. to see all the fun Christmas stuff. We first went to Santa's candy castle! Christian loved getting to put quarters in the old fashion gum ball machines and watch the gum ball go through a maze of things until it dropped down into the slot. After that Christian got to learn how to make snow. He thought this was pretty neat and he loved getting to help the guy with everything. After they made the snow Christian got to see the blow up frosty blow snow all around. This he really liked! Then Christian got to pick out a candy Pezz dispenser. He chose Iron Man which totally shocked Jason and I considering they had Lightening Mcqueen and Thomas the Train to chose from! Jason and I got some salt water taffy, and a reindeer shoe (this has lots of chocolate and caramel and is shaped like a horseshoe). We also had to each get a frozen hot chocolate! For those of you who have never had one of these they are to die for! I can't wait to go back for another one soon! They have a 64oz. size that is called the avalanche and if you finish it all by yourself you get your picture on the wall. They have a formal request out to Adam on man vs. food to try this challenge for a Christmas special. I think it would be great! 64 ounces may not sound like a lot but they add a ton of whip cream and he said that they would put a time limit on it for him and also have him eat this fruit cake that they are known for. The fruit cake is very dense. I really hope that they do it sometime! Before we left the candy castle the guy gave Christian a million dollar bill with Santa's picture on it for him to use at the North Pole when he gets older. We had a great experience and loved every second of being in the candy castle. After that we headed over to the Christmas Store where Christian got to sit on Santa's lap and talk to him for a long time! It was nice going when we did because there were no other kids around, so Christian got to spend lots of time with Santa. When Christian first saw him his eyes just lit up and he had a big smile on his face. It was so cute listening to him tell Santa what he wanted for Christmas, We ended up getting a family picture together with him which was great. Jason and I have a picture together with Santa every year from when we first got married and I love that! After Christian was finished talking to Santa he got to pick out some fudge and I got a big cookie and jason got some kind of flavored mocha. Then we walked around the store some more. Christian liked looking at all the villages set up. I think he will be really excited this year when my Dad gets his villages out. He has the Dickens's village and the Bethlehem ones. My dad loves to collect things and they are really neat all set up! After we finished looking at all the villages we took Christian to the Land of Lights. This was so much fun! We let him sit in the middle of us up front and he thought that was cool! He loved looking at all the lights. At one point he leaned over and just gave me a big kiss. You could just tell that he was in absolute heaven with everything! I loved watching every second of it with him! After that we headed back. On our way home we decided to drive around some more neighborhoods to look at christmas lights. It was still a little early for it, so there weren't a ton out, but Christian still had fun!
